Comcast cites it Tuesday as part of its FCC filing

So the rumors that Apple has been trying to do a deal with Time Warner as part of its new Apple TV box look to be true as Comcast sites it in its FCC filing. While Comcast is trying to make everyone thing that they would not become a cable monopoly by merging with Time Warner Cable.

What isn’t clear is what exactly Apple and Time Warner might be working on. Is this a new consumer level box or is it something new that users would obtain through Time Warner just as they do their existing cable box? Well, it actually don’t think it is a new cable box, but who knows.
