Version 2.2 adds Spotlight support and so tightens integration with system services and third-party apps. Users can now find their documents from anywhere on iOS, open them in other apps, and use them in automated workflows.
The update also improves the handling and reliability of background tasks. Maintenance jobs like indexing or purging run concurrently and no longer slow down the user interface. In addition, all background activity including synchronizing receives a new, unified status display. It keeps the users informed about what's going on in a way that doesn't interfere with their work.
