Florida based Econ Technologies today announces ChronoSync 4.8.4, a major feature update to the multipurpose app for local and cloud backup, bootable clones and folder synchronizing under macOS.
Package File analysis performance is significantly faster in ChronoSync 4.8.4 which directly reduces the time needed to scan for changed files. Furthermore, APFS bootable backups now start up the first time more reliably, Preboot and Recovery volumes are updated more reliably and even Archiving package files is faster.
In addition, unique issues have been revealed whereby certain Mac/OS combinations don't provide the same signaling and wake-to-sync behavior that has been tried and tested for generations of ChronoSync under macOS.
