Apple is said to be working on new iPhone designs with bigger, curved screens and new touch sensors that could differentiate between different levels of pressure.
According to Bloomberg, two models are set to launch next years, with displays that “curve downward at the edges,” but the new sensors could show up in later models.Apple reportedly working on curved iPhone designs
Although the report comes from a reputable source, we are not entirely convinced just yet. The curved screens are said to measure 4.7 and 5.5 inches across. Frankly that sounds a bit too big. Apple is rather conservative when it comes to form factors, going up from 3.5 to 4 inches took five product generations, hence we were expecting another incremental bump. Going from 4 inches to 5.5 would be a huge leap.
