Eleven suits have been filed against Apple in the past six months. Several of the cases relate to its backdating of options; others deal with antitrust and patent issues. One case alleges that Apple is violating antitrust law because content purchased from iTunes can only be played on the Apple-manufactured iPod and no other device. In another, a company alleges that the Nike + iPod product offering infringes on several of its own patents.
