Signatures?

This is a discussion about Signatures? in the Feedback category; Philipp: I saw someone here with a graphic in their signature, so I'm wondering if that's allowable or not. If it's okay, some guidelines on the file size and dimensions would be helpful.

i beleive most forums simply have an option of no images in sigs.

either way, if they are allowed

a good standard that i have seen around is all sigs must be under either 40kb or 30kb.

Umm, it should be less than 10kb, as any decent page should be less than 80kb total for fast, stable loading to begin with.

phpBB doesn't by default. You have to add the facility in through mods or "hacks" and thats exactly what the mod I linked to does.

10KB? sounds fair enough to me.
