nVidia 23.11+ (nview added) XP driver conflict with ICQ 2001
This is a discussion about nVidia 23.11+ (nview added) XP driver conflict with ICQ 2001 in the Feedback category; I have tried the latest version of nVidia detonator 28. 32 XP driver. Apparently it still have a bug or something that caused ICQ to response very slowly and at worse, brought the whole system to a slow-response even after ICQ is shut down.

I don't know if anyone else have this problem or not... but I do fear that for any new nvidia driver upgrade, it will just be the same dooming ICQ.
I have a fairly good system, PIII-500 slot-1 on Asus P3V4x 512mb ram, GF2GTS and Windows XP Pro with ICQ2001b/2002a. When I switched back to detonator 23.11, all is working sweet again. No lag or slow response with nvidia/icq.
My guess is that nView's features have caused this, but I do not have nview activated.
What's your finding regarding this?
Kel.
