PC Speaker Talk

pmistry
For the longest time I have been debating whether or not to get a better set of speakers for my Sound Blaster Audigy 2, price is somewhat of a concern, however, I don't mind spending good money for a good high quality product, I just don't want to spend over $300 (CDN) so about $200 - 250 (US).

PCI Express motherboards with S478 P4 support

ross_aveling
Hey all, Does anyone know if any PCI Express motherboards will be coming out that can take a socket 478 Northwood Pentium 4 CPU and PC3200 (DDR400) Dimms? I've only ever seen ones that take the new LGA775 socket P4's.

I noticed something today: "Regulars" here, in your Profiles!

DosFreak
This is something that I've thought about for a very long time. I've always been very security minded when it comes to the Internet world and to the Real world. Better to be safe than sorry. . . . but not much harm can come of posting my pic and a bit more info.

Feature Request: Subscribe to thread

snakefoot
It would be a lot easier to follow discussions if one was able to subscribe to threads. The preferable option for me would be to get the notification by email. Another notification-option is to use something similar as , where one can see the subscribed-threads that have been replied to since last visit.

GOOD NEWS regarding AIDS (believe it or not)

jmmijo
Actually this was only a matter of time as Darwin proved with natural selection/evolution. I would think that at some point there will be more and more humans with immunities to some/all forms of cancer as well Great read there APK, thanks.

Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow: Anyone go see it yet?

thatsteveguy
Well I have not seen it yet but I do want to. but I was wondering when I first saw the trailer a few months back I could not help but think of Crimson Skies. I know it is nothing like that game but I think it was the planes that did it in terms of seeming familiar.

ISP Worm

Malaris
Is it possible for an ISP's sever to be infected with a worm? Or worse still the ISP to deliberately send a worm/virus? For the purpose of this post I will name my ISP 'AAA'. Quite a while ago when I hardly used the internet I signed up for a 'pay-as-you-go' internet service, as soon as I set this up my PC was infe ...
