I have an HP Pavilion Xt983 and a 540n. I was wondering if they could be overclocked. The XT983 has an HP Santa Fe mobo in it which I believe was made by that crappy Korean company, Trigem and has 5 visible jumpers on it.

Win2000 and MBR

I need to get Win2000 to take over the MBR without reinstalling. Currently I have a boot loader, LILO, in my MBR but as I want to remove the hard drive that I've installed linux on I need to remove LILO from the MBR.

Imitate floppy for a program

OK, here at work we have a program that is OLD OLD OLD. It works great, and we need it anyways to program radio's to certain frequencies. Like I say it works great, but there is one small issue that is angering me: it makes a pool directory on the floppy drive and does nothing with it.

I'm upgrading my computer or to be more correct building a new. As part of this I'm planning on moving my primary hard drive from my old computer to my new computer, but will that mean that I have to reinstall Windows 2000 or do I have any way of making it work in my new computer?.
